460 Ryukyu Entertainment run by an independent Okinawan artist created the chunky, angular and yes kawaii Budog character. One Up is now producing the Budog vinyl figures in Japan and has to date released three editions — the debut black n’ white edition (150 pieces), a special limited brown face (w/3 variations), and a white flock version (40 pieces). The figures stand about 4 inches tall with the head articulated 360 about the squat body.
The Toumart edition (4th) — brings Touma’s spunky design with the signature toothy grin to Budog in a pink and gray breed. It’s limited to 150 pieces and will be available first from One Up for 3465 yen (~ $32), overseas orders accepted.
