David Gonzales: Beyond the Homies @ PMCA (1.6.08)

David Gonzales, the creator of the wildly successful Homies capsule toys, will present a lecture about his art (past and present) and talk about how the Homies connect to the latino community -- from 2 to 3 PM on Sunday, January 6th 2008 at the Pasadena Museum of California Art (PMCA). Part of the closing activities for the Beyond Ultraman exhibit, David will follow his lecture with a poster signing session.  The event is free with paid admission to the museum.  If you haven't already seen the Beyond Ultraman exhibit organized by Los Angeles Toys, Dolls, and Amusements Museum  (LATDA) featuring vinyl toys and related art from seven leading California artists -- it's definitely worth a visit.
