Seen: Marka27 -- SURU Minigods Release

Back on August 31st, Marka27 released the SURU Exclusive of his MG-1 Minigods figure (100 pcs) at a combination signing and solo art show at SURU. Marka painted the front wall before the event and then went of to refuel. An energetic crowd turned out to celebrate the release and congratulate Marka on his first original art toy.  When Marka arrived a line of eager collectors was waiting for their chance to buy the SURU exclusive minigod.  He signed and sketched for most of the night.

Severals artists including the highly-respected Chaz Bojorquez, the Blokhedz twins, Dez Einswell, and Jesse Hernandez rolled through during the evening.  Before the Beathackerz Kollective started dropping beats, the crowd got a chance to listen to iPod tunes through a Minigod figure -- sounds  good with the included 9volt battery.

While the focus was on the Minigod, Marka filled SURU's walls with excellent hand-embellished prints on wood -- great pieces.  He also brought along hand-embellished spray can prints and a few small canvases and custom toys.   Fun night filled with art, toys, and  liquid joy.   Finally, props to Marka for some additional photos.
