Sam Brown & Andrew Bell -- Progress (8.4.07)
Looking for a cool art show in SoCal? Want to get weird with creatures galore? Sam Brown and Andrew Bell will open their joint show, Progress, tonight (8.4) from 8 to 11 PM @ Wax Poetic Gallery in Burbank. Sam and Andrew have a complimentary style and each will be at the opening -- check it out. If you can't make it, peep the online catalog which goes live once the show opens.

I checked this event out last night, not a ton of work but what was there was fun and different. The opening, thought, was full of "scenesters" who appeared to really only be their for the free booze and/or food. I didn't pick any of the artwork up (though if I had a few hundred just to throw around I probably would have), but I did pick up a few stickers. Chris Lee was also there as was Deborah from Wheaty Wheat, so I definitely recognized a few people. Check it out if you're in the neighborhood.
