Derek Albeck - A Step off the Old Beaten Path (6.23)
LA artist Derek Albeck is making a name for himself with his "Glums" characters and distinct style. Featured in several group shows, Derek is now front and center with a growing string of solo shows. He throws down this Saturday, June 23rd with A Step off the Old Beaten Path (flier) @ Tradition from 6 to 10 PM. The show will feature original paintings and customs. Speaking of customs, wouldn't Derek's Teen Terror Custom Ningyo (above) make an awesome production piece? If you've never seen Derek's work or met him, come get acquainted. We have a sneaking feeling you'll be seeing his art for a long time to come.
