Seen: Lori Earley @ Opera Gallery
Lori Earley's Anima Sola solo opened last Saturday (4.28.07) @ Opera Gallery in NYC. Delusionalexit2 was there for the preview and the opening and sent back these lovely shots of Lori's latest paintings. Lori utilizes excellent technique with her strong rendering of light to capture the female form in a realistic yet slightly askew manner. While prepping these photos I caught myself staring at each of the closeups -- beautiful work. Enjoy. If you live in NYC, go see the show for yourself -- it runs through May 13th.

i saw the paintings in person, even these very good photo's don't do them justice. they have so much depth and light and shadow. they are amazing. i wish i had the money to own an original. i have 8 prints but they are not nearly as nice. her work is amazing.
