Seen: Getting Over @ Channel 1
Channel 1 hosted the opening of Getting Over this past Friday (3.6.07), an exhibition of custom All City Style subway trains and original paintings, this past Friday night. Special guest Queen Andrea, several New Haven artists, and others showed their skills to the props of the large crowd. Thanks to Sket One, artist by day -- correspondent by night, here are pics of the show pieces.

So did the company that made the trains DONATE them to get painted?? or do the writers have to buy the trains?
Just wondering | Apr 9, 2007 9:23:43 AM
Hey are they selling any of those original works and where?

the trains were bought by chanel-one and distributed to the artists
we have donated trains to events in the past but mostly to charity causes
but mostly how it has worked is a galley buys a quantity of trains and distributes them to artists
SOemtimes as with Actiontoys.de and ARTOTZ.com and
Toy Tokyo the gallery is also the distributor of the product
