Gimme Shelter @ Thinkspace (tonight - 4.28.07)

Thinkspace will host the opening of the Gimme Shelter touring benefit show  tonight -- Saturday, April 28th from 7 to 11 PM.  Over 300 artists from around the globe have created original art on a fitting canvas -- a piece of cardboard, the primary source of shelter and warmth from the nation's homeless.   Once the tour ends in November, the pieces will be auctioned off on eBay with proceeds going to benefit the National Coaltion of the Homeless.  Along with myplasticheart, Vinyl Pulse is proud to be a sponsor of Gimme Shelter. Come out and enjoy the art of a diverse and talented group of artists who have donated their talent to this worthy cause.
