Gary Baseman’s first solo show in San Francisco, I Melt In your Presence, opened this past Thursday (3.15.07) @ Modernism. The show was anchored by two of Gary’s largest paintings to date — Dying of Thirst (4′ x 9′) and The Hills of Creamy Goodness (3′ x 8′). As is his tradition, Gary created a letter press poster for the show (edition of 250) which is available directly from garybaseman.com ("store").
