Tim Tsui's Da Minci Dropping Any Day Now

Tim Tsui's latest DAPE figure is about to hit stores worldwide --check your favorite online store for preorders.   Da Minci is both Bling's brother bodyguard and a part-time wrestler.  Towering over Bling, Da Minci comes with a removable luchador-style mask, spray can (echoing Tim's King character) and two removable magnetic belts.  As with Bling, Da Minci comes in a swanky cloth bag for an extra touch of class and collectability.

So far, there are five known editions of Da Minici including three regular editions: HK (yellow), Japan (Blue) and Black/white (secret).  There are also two store exclusives (200 pieces each) from Neon Martian (UK) and 8 Style (Japan). Neon Martian is currently running a Tim Tsui promotion -- buy an Tim Tsui fig between now and February 28th and have a chance to win a super-rare all-black King figure.

Having seen the figure up close, let me say while the comparisons to Bling are inevitable, Da Minci has his own style and vibe.  Bling flaunts his glam and style. In contrast, Da Minci is a rough and tumble brawler (check that mug!) with perhaps not as much fashion sense (check the polo shirt and luchador mask combo).  Btw,  In addition to the 5 shown here, there's  a sixth edition coming at New York Comic-Con.  More on this Monday.
