MiniGobi Prototype

We’re taking a bit of a break from  our look at the Dr. Destruction sculpt   to focus on the other projects  brewing at Muttpop.  Back in 2006, we teased you guys with the developments on Red Demon and a sneak peak glimpse at MiniGobi. Both figures are  coming very soon! Here are  the final rotocast vinyl prototypes of MiniGobi Original, MiniGobi Black Bean, and MiniGobi Classico. At 4 inches tall (10 cm) and a very reasonable retail price of $12.00, MiniGobis are an affordable addition to the Muttpop collection.

ALL:
I'm glad you guys are digging the pieces. Both Red Demon and Mini Gobi should be on sale in late April/early May.

Just wondering, but does anyone know if there is going to be an english version to the comic book. And if so when?
Thanks

CLARK K:
We have just signed a contract for the US Publication of the Lucha Libre comic with a major publisher.

As soon as we have a definitive date on the release of the comic we'll make the official announcement!

We still need to do some translations...so I'm thinking that realistically the English comic won't be ready until Summer of this year.

YoeYoe - Love the Gobi man; any chance of getting a Jerry?

DudeHOLE | Feb 17, 2007 6:04:28 AM

DRAGONDAVY:
Damn straight. The comics shouldn't be very hard to find. We're working out a deal with the Comic Publisher to ensure that DKE (our Designer Toy destributor) has plenty of comics on hand to sell to your favorite local designer toy store.

DUDEHOLE:
MiniJerry? Way ahead of you. We're sculpting him as we speak...along with two other minis. We just struck a deal on a FOURTH Mini that is going to surprise a lot of folks. Stay tuned.

Who made sculpt for mini gobi. he looks great and not stiff like new character. I know new character is a stiff frenchman right so the sculpt fits. I like how Muttpop endorses smoking. smoking makes me feel sexy.

love you all Alexis
