Go Hero's Yira: Release Party + GID Preorder

Go Hero's latest figure, Yira designed by Steve Forde, will be released on Friday, February 9th at The House of Fun   from 7-9 PM.  While the wait's been agonizing (about a year since it was first shown at Toy Fair '06), the retro Japanese-styled dragon is well woth it.  Yira's wicked from head to toe and the fully sculpted armor plates/scales need to be seen in person to be really appreciated.  Measuring 7" tall and nearly 17" long this is one monstrous piece of vinyl.  Apart from your first chance to pick up Yira, the release party will also feature Art from the Dragon Eats Knight contest, free gift for the first 25 people, live tunes spun by DJ Eric Eiffel of "Tokyo No Radio" - 91.7 WKBU, food, drinks and more.

In other Yira News, the extremely limited glow edition is now available for preorder.  Don't snooze on these as there are only 50 in existence.  Also if you feel like living dangerously, 10 Glow Yiras will be available at the release party.
