Dave Pressler's Toy Explosion (1.30.07)

Dave Pressler is perhaps best known for his sculpting work (Camile Rose Garcia's girls, Brendan Monroe's Sour, Ron English's Rabbit, and more).  Having brought other artists' creations to life, he is now focusing on his own characters and toys.  His Toy Explosion show opening on Tuesday, January 30th from 7 to 11PM at Munky King Melrose will showcase several new limited edition hand-done resin toys as well limited-edition prints.

Dave's Endorphins resin toys including Alpha, Beta, Sigma, and Gamma will be available in both the normal little size (100 pcs) and the larger mega-endorphin variety (30 pieces).  These guys are oh-so-happy, in almost a creepy way ;-) Collect some and you'll be on your way to cloud nine too!

In addition to the Endorphins, Dave will also  present two very limited edition resin figures. Three of (15 total) sets of Robot and Monster: Best Friends Forever will be available at the show. Bot and Beast - great pairing -- short and skinny, grumpy and gleeful.

Last but not least by any means, Toy Explosion will be the first opportunity to purchase Dave Pressler's Gas Powered Dragon  -- an incredible resin figure.  The dragon measures 9" tall and 11" long and is limited to a total edition of 15 pieces.  Three pieces will be available at the show.
