Dalek - Ningyo Project

The Ningyo project from Super Rad Toys blends the traditional, Japanese gosho dolls, with contemporary designs provided by some of the top underground artists in the game.  The traditional edition as well as the first designer edition from tokidoki were released earlier this month. Wanting to expand the reach of the project, Super Rad Toys is gearing up for the second designer edition.

For his turn on Ningyo, Dalek delivers a design driven by the form rather than a straightforward transfer of his style and characters.  The clearest nod to his style are the Space Monkey-ish eyes covering the vest.  The regular edition (pictured here) will be released @  Toy Tokyo on April 6th.  Tradition will release their exclusive version on March 10th.
