Lone Wolf and Cub, Dunny Style by Huck Gee

Huck Gee was born just a bit late (800 years or so) to live in  Feudal Japan.  Undaunted,  he fulfills his calling by practicing his own 21st century code of Bushido filling his days with the tasks of committing Samurai flicks to memory and perfecting his craft of hand-making  proud Japanese warrior Dunnys and lovely vinyl objects of desire.  For his latest commission  Huck drew inspiration from the epic Samurai manga Lone Wolf and Cub.  With his signature style and unyielding attention to detail, he transformed  an 8" Dunny into Lone Wolf and rendered Cub with a 3" Dunny complete with a custom-built  carriage.

Figure by figure from Samurai to Shogun and Geisha to Ninja, Huck continues to build his own Dunnyized rendition of Feudal Japan.  Though I’m probably dreaming, it would be great to see it all come together in a massive installation.
