Pirate Boy by Shag

In collaboration with Disney and Span of Sunset, Shag (Josh Agle) has designed the Pirate Boy figure which will drop this month.  Pirate Boy stands 10" tall, comes in three colorways (regular, sepia and mono) and  is limited to 500 pieces per colorway and retails for $60.  The figure comes in a clear display box featuring Shag's art on the front and back. Span of Sunset has all three figures for sale.

it's kinda cool, but the stripe going across his raised arm shouldn't go straight across. It should stop at the shoulder seam and then the stripe should go around the circuference of his arm.

I dunno, it just bothers me.

That's horrible... is any collector really going to want that?
If I wanted Disney, I'd buy Disney; the Cheshire Cat was one thing with the customes, but this is just awful.

I really like shags work -but this toy sucks. time to ditch the mouse and make some real toys from the paintings.

So, I guess even Shag can be wrong...
