Kaijin: Steiny Vinyl + Retrospective


Steiny by Kaijin

A talented Japanese designer, Kaijin has participated in several high profile design projects and exhibitions including the Seven Sense project for last year's DesignFesta as well the monthly Sorrow Men's Expo 2006  exhibitions at Fewmany in Japan featuring Devilrobots, Touma and Kaijin + a monthly female guest artist.   For both Seven Sense and the Fewmany exhibitions, Kaijin has created original characters and then realized them in hand-cast resin figures. For this year's DesignFesta, he is collaborating with Touma and T9G on Monsters List.  Steiny, a lovely and sophisticated female character with her signature headphones has made several apperances as custom resins and is now set to become Kaijin's first vinyl figure, upcoming from Wonderwall.  Enjoy the pictures of Kaijin's custom resin artistry courtesy of Wonderwall.

Now I know. I bought his MUNNY off ebay last year but didn't know anything about him. The MUNNY was modeled after his Steiny character. Looking forward to see some of these designs in vinyl.
