Captain Maxx, Max Toy Company’s first original vinyl figure, should drop early next week and is available for preorder now for the retail price of $39.95. Captain Maxx stands 9.5" tall, comes with a removable mask accessory, and is articulated at the neck, shoulders, waist and legs (6 points). True to its vintage Japanese toy roots, this figure comes with the removable mask either on or off (on the figure’s extended hand) and ships in classic header board and bag packaging. This red version is limited to less than 150 pieces and there will also be a special SDCC version. Props to Mark Nagata for creating Max Toy Company to pursue his true passion — producing figures in the vintage Japanese toy tradition. It looks like he’s well on his way to starting another successful company (Mark founded Super7 Magazine as well).
