Blaine Fontana’s Animal Council opened tonight at Scribble Theory in Santa Ana, Ca. This show featured Blaine’s animal menagerie in full effect across three installations and several other original works. As good as these pieces look in the pictures below, they were even more impressive in person Known for his beautiful rendering of Koi, Blaine delivered a stunning installation of Koi paintings amid bamboo shoots which will have to hold over collectors as he takes a break from these beautiful fish. While many of the pieces were sold during the preshow, some of the larger pieces were still unsold prior to tonight’s opening.
