MTV Overground #3: Toys is a brand-new volume dedicated to Designer Toys written by StrangeCo Founders Gregory Blum and Jim Crawford. The book will feature interviews from influential people in the designer toy biz as well as coverage of over 500 toys through 300+ images. The official launch party is on Valentine’s Day (2.14.06) during Toy Fair at The Showroom NYC from 7 to 10PM. Beyond advanced copies of the book, and plentiful amounts of Saporro, several artists are creating custom toys for the event including: MAD, Fafi, Attaboy and others. The official release of the book is in April. This promises to be a great night and the place to be for Toy Fair folks and the rest of NYC on the 14th 🙂 We’ll be there.
