Fatima by Sam Flores

Here is Sam Flores’ next beautiful toy, Fatima.  Two of four (?) editions  were on display at Ningyoushi’s Toy Fair Booth.  Fans of Sam Flores’ paintings will recognize Fatima immediately.  Beyond the really nice sculpt,it’s very cool that the two editions pictured here are NOT simple colorways of each other. Rather they have slightly different hair treatments and completely different patterns on their dresses.  Look for these really nice pieces in April.

  1. AMAZING!
Sam’s work always blows me away and these are no exception!
Aside from Ningyoushi, any word on who will have these in April?

  2. Not something I would own, but then again that’s what I said about the Tiger Babies and I’m now searching for them. However, the sculpt stays very true to his style. 😀

  3. LOL, No.L!
Couldn’t stay away from the lure of the TigerBaby huh?
Sam’s site still has them available… pricey, but WELL worth it in my opinion.
I needed to add some diversity to my collection, and they definitely did the trick!

  4. Hey guys I was really hoping somebody your way could me locate a sam flores black fatima vinyl figure. In addition to a my yellow and pink fatimas I have 3 tigerbaby’s (white, silver, & grey). And when Sam hit Lineage for his show in Philly I bought two pieces of original art… so you can definitely say I’m a fan. Is there anyway that I can get hold of a black fatima figure?? I really would appreciate a nudge in the right direction. Btw, Brad and Josh from philly were such a legit blast to deal biz with. Anyone, anywhere you can recommed me??

  5. I own the green and pink Fatima dolls and I have never taken them out of the box … but I noticed that they seem to have some blemishes and what look like cracks around the hands and neck – has anybody else noticed this on their dolls or did I get ripped off?
