Cucumouse
A few months ago, Kei Sawada of Japan had his solo show @ Fewmany at which he revealed the prototype of Cucumouse from Cuculand.
Well, the toy is no longer just a prototype. It is finally here!!
Release date is yet to be confirmed but the word from Kei is it will be
sometime in February. This fellow will retail at approximately $20US.
The edition size of the red/blue version is 350 while the blue/yellow
version is limited at 100 pieces. If you don’t who Kei Sawada is, let
me tell you something about this talented young artist. For his
graduation thesis from art school he did a composition of 1000 unique
characters on a gargantuan size thick cloth measuring at 32 feet x 14
feet. Check out his website for more info. With so much talent, expect
more great toys from him
