"El Panda Revealed!" Part 4

Using Muttpop's comments and suggestions as a guideline, Monster 5 made the following tweaks while posing El Panda in the turnaround stance:

- Brought El Panda's head lower to his body.
- Made the shoulders, chest, arms and body more massive.
- Reshaped the wrinkles in El Panda's clothes to give them a cloth like texture.

As a luchador who convincingly holds his own against Tequila, it was of the utmost importance that El Panda looked like he could kick some SERIOUS behind. Monster5 demonstrates, once again, that his sculpting skills can do the job. Included below are 7 pics of the first version of the "posed" El Panda. Enjoy!! Check back next week for further El Panda revisions!

Nice! :D

Though I have to say I'm a tad dissapointed that he's not still chewing on a bit of bamboo. Still the sculpt is amazing and the removable hat is cooooool :D

This one is going to be better than Tequila. I really like what you did by putting the bamboo in the pocket. I'm sure a lot of people would have recieved broken or bent bamboo had it stayed in Panda's mouth. Will the hat come off in the final version? That bothers me a little becasue I have a couple of toys where the hat doesn't fit snuggly and slides off from time to time. As long as it stays on I'll be happy. Clean work as always, Thanks Muttpop!

OKKLE:
Thanks. The chewing bamboo works better in theory. It would look too clumsy in a 3D sculpt.

NEIL:
We didn't completely abandon the bamboo, look at his back pocket. :-)

BORT:
The hat will come off. We made it so that the side of his hat fits snug around El Panda's right ear. You will see what I am talking about in later pictures. The hat won't stay on if you decide to throw El Panda around, but it will be secure on his head when placed on display.

Thanks for the feedback!
