Monster Mash Show

Monsters!!! I LOVE monsters!!!  Cute ones, scary ones, giant ones and tiny ones, if you are like me, you have battled and befriended a few monsters in your days. You may even have a few favorites of your own. Then you will love this upcoming show, the Monster Mash, organized by Peskimo. It features works done by 32 artists (see website for complete list) and you will get to vote for your favorite monster through quarter-finals and semi-finals the at the show heats . The final 4 monsters will get to duke it out at the grand final at Playlounge in London when, by the end of February a grand Monster Mash Melee Master will be crowned. Can't make it out to the show but still want to get to see the awesome pieces? A special pack of Monster Mash Battle cards (sort of like top Trump cards) featuring each competing Monster is available for purchase. These can be bought from the Monster Mash website or from various other outlets and designer toy shops. The packs are limited to 1000 hand numbered packs and include a blank card for you to draw your own monster!

Heats: Here shop and Gallery - Bristol - January 7th-28th
Final: Playlounge - London - February 2nd-25th

this is going to be a massive event, a great way to launch the uk scene further into 2006.

the US has some big events but it's time for the UK to show we can do the same.

buy some of the cards, they're bloody marvelous!

props to peskimo for sorting this out, the first of many i hope.
