Winter White BOO by Touma

One of my favorite toy designers is Japanese artist Touma, whose most recent delicious creation is BOO. BOO is a mischievous creature and when he was discovered on a deserted island, he was brought to a laboratory for closer inspection. But on the way to the lab, the car carrying BOO was involved in an accident and BOO managed to escape from its captives and found his way into town.

There many variations of BOO and  that's because he changes color due to mood and atmosphere. The newest addition is a Winter white version. Collaborating with the lifestyle store Stitch of Japan, this Winter white version will go on sale at the store starting November 3, 2005. There are 3 different versions, one with full eyes, one with X eyes and another one with heart shaped eyes.  Each sells for 3360 Yen, which is approximately $33US. Having a hard time remembering how many different kind of BOOS there are? Well, stop by the store from 11/03-11/13 for the BOO exhibition, where all the different BOOS will be on display. Along with the display there will also be special BOO items for sale, such as BOO mini-canvas and a set of BOO, BOOBIE and BABOO  body set (HAND MADE).Touma will be available on 11/13 at the show for signings. So, if you want to see them all, make sure you stop by the show. Btw, rumor has it that Touma will be visiting California soon!
