Vivisect? What does that have to do with a show curated by Luke Chueh featuring works by Amanda Visell, Joe Ledbetter, Thomas
Han, Greg Simkins (Craola) and 9 other artists (see poster for complete list)?
Well, animals are the central theme among the works of these artists.
They express human emotions through their anthropomorphic animal characters.
If you are unfamiliar with the twisted, colorful and sometimes bitterly
comical works of these artists, this will be a good show for you to get
acquainted with them. The show will open on December 1, 2005 at Gallery 1988 and will run until December 23, 2005. Jack and I will be stopping by the show, so stay tuned for more coverage. And No…no animals were hurt while producing this show…well at least none we know of????
