The third series in Monkey Board’s hand-drawn Sharpie Series is by Joe Ledbetter. These 23 one-of-a-kind boards will go on sale at themonkeystore.com for $125 each at noon pacific time Wednesday (11.16). These boards are quite nice IMO and feature JLed’s omnipresent Mr. Bunny, Firecat as well as other characters. Oh and yes the layout of this article looks like something you’d find ina petri dish! The boards are laid out 1-23 in the same order as on monkey’s store site.
These are really classy designs…nice work…in some ways it’s fortunate that my skating skills mean i could ride one of these around without ruining the Gorgeous Joe Ledbetter work. Keep it up Monkey, the Hand-Drawn Sharpie Series has been ace so far.
Why is it that deck 18 shown here…is different than the one on themonkeystore.com? I like the one shown here better.
Well they sold through them in about 3 minutes. Stupid me put in the wrong # for my expiry date on my card thus being beaten to the purchase!!! DAMMIT!
