Skumbo visits Earth on September 15th!

Skumbo, Tristan Eaton’s latest viny toy creation for Kidrobot, makes his Earthly debut on September 15th.  Despite first appearances, Skumbos are not your run of the mill cuddly ‘phants.  Oh no, these guys come from the boiling, steaming, depths of hell and are ready to rumble. They stand 4.5 inches high and come in two distinct colorways: Red Cutty (1000 pieces) and Purple Felony (2000 pieces), each retails for $39.95.  Want to know more about Skumbo?  Here’s the scoop  straight from the official press release:

Honestly, he’s more cute than evil. But DAMNED cute – that’s for sure. And he’s kind of a boozer; otherwise, he’d just bypass earth and go straight to Heaven. But Skumbo is no angel. He’s roaming the planet, getting into adventures and living up to his reputation: Too cute for hell – too drunk for heaven!

According to  previous interviews, Tristan designed Skumbo as a counterpart to the Dunny.  He’s finally earth bound and ready to cause a ruckus!   I’m pretty partial to the Purple Felony edition as it has Tristan’s trademark brass knuckles in the left ear — great touch and a nice tie-in with some of his older toys such as the  8" Zulu Cat Qee (one of my favorite pieces by far).  Thanks to KR we have some nice high-res eye candy for you!  Be sure to floss!

  1. He looks more like a counter part to KidRobot rather than Dunny.
