If you’re a vinyl enthusiast in and around southern California, this is a great upcoming weekend! There are 2 separate shows / events. Previously, I’ve mention the Mad*l 2k5 show this Saturday (April 10th) at Oulous Gallery (next to Munky King) in the old portion of Chinatown in Los Angeles.
And… on Sunday, there’s Qeeology from 11 am to 4pm at the Pasadena Conference Center in Pasadena. So I’ve never been to Qeeology (it’s a recurring and ?travelling? event) but it’s pretty clear that it’s less of a show and more of a vendor exhibition — i.e. a great place to go to buy Qees.
The newest products available at Qeeology will be the brand spanking new Qee Series 5b. There are several nice designs in this new series — and arguably overall it’s a more interesting series than 5a.
Additionally, there will be some "exclusives" available such as the Qee King (previously available at Wizard World), Shogun Qee Sets, and apparently mono-white versions of Touma’s Hellhound. All of these will be fairly limited (especially the latter two), so if you want one of these hard to find items, show up EARLY!!!
